I performed at the reopening events of the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague, playing with Jernej Bervar, Marciej Dormeradski, Frans van Geest, and Martijn van Iterson. A highlight was seeing Princess Beatrix among the guests.
Last weekend I went to Boston Illuminus Festival, an evening with lights projected on buildings, interactive art and technology.
In October I joined the Honk Festival in Harvard Square and the PRONK Festival in Providence — days of parades, street bands, and wild performances that ended with crowdsurfing and chaos in a parking garage under the bridge.
I spent a tour week with Slovenian guitarist Jernej Bervar in the Netherlands — from concerts on water stages and boats to playing for Princess Beatrix, sightseeing, and enjoying great food together.
Back in the Netherlands, I saw Terence Blanchard perform at the Bimhuis — an intimate, packed concert that felt like a continuous stream of thought. His trumpet playing was a profound journey, and I felt blessed to experience it.
